After a little tracking of the issue, I've noticed that when the "Launcher.exe"
begins to download, it suddenly stops and pops an error window.
I've found this is because of the launcher trying to access some kind of P2P
transfer which makes some problems.

To solve this do as follows (I'm using a Spanish client so, sorry if texts
aren't 100% accurate with the English one):

-> start Launcher.exe using wine, q4wine or whatever.
-> wait until it pops the error window.
-> on the launcher screen go to "Options" -> "download assistant preferences"
and disable P2P sharing.

Now u will use the Launcher to update the game and then use WoW.exe to play.

Hope this helps ;)
