Nothing is wrong, but gzip compression provides a nice acceleration for people
with a slow Internet connection.

Also quite often people request huge lists of information (such as bug reports
or mailing lists) and they are easily compressed five or even tenfold.

If you are afraid of the increased server load I have to say that gzip
compression is imperceptible.
