I'm using wine-1.3.13 with an NVidia 9800 GT card, and I'm seeing the same
problem as this, a large number of repetitions of:

fixme:wgl:X11DRV_wglGetPixelFormatAttribivARB unsupported 2004 WGL Attribute
fixme:wgl:X11DRV_wglGetPixelFormatAttribivARB unsupported 2005 WGL Attribute
fixme:wgl:X11DRV_wglGetPixelFormatAttribivARB unsupported 2006 WGL Attribute
fixme:wgl:X11DRV_wglGetPixelFormatAttribivARB unsupported 2008 WGL Attribute
fixme:wgl:X11DRV_wglGetPixelFormatAttribivARB unsupported 2009 WGL Attribute

followed by a nice window reporting that my graphics card is unsupported by the
game (which seems a bit unlikely, though I don't have Windows on this machine
to test it with this very card.)
