Hi guys!
I have seen you are experiencing issues with Wine Wordpad and black background
in the Toolbar buttons. At least #1 .

We have been experiencing the same, but the problem is not related with
comctl32, (at least in this case) but with the app itself. 

Here you can see Wine Wordpad running on XP:
