First of all, both sides should stop *pure* trolling,
cause that's just what that theming "discussion" is (at least in this bug).

Some of the people should also stop their "ad personam" trips, even if the
other side is clearly wrong.

I'm still on ac'97, though this time it's a via variation (I've been downgraded
a bit lately) and pulseaudio still more or less works for me with pure alsa, so
I'm interested a bit, where the real problem lies (in hda kernel module ?).

Oh, and I'm still interested in an answer to comment 226.
