This problem was already pointed in comment #37. But for 32bits ubuntu wine
packages, copying native comdlg32.dll solves the problem. So maybe your problem
is related to the 64bits package ?

I tried to run SWx with +snoop,+relay to see exactly how native comdlg32 is
called, but unfortunately with +snoop it hangs during startup. Is there a way
to change WINEDEBUG on the fly, just before opening file dialog ?
