wine crash output when selecting setting button in launcher

I'm still crashing with a clean install of ubuntu 10.10 and wine from git (with
native dx9, vcrun2005 and ie6)
Applying the 2 patches.

AO install is a Win7 working copy.

Each time I try to press the setting button in the launcher, wine crashes (see
output)

The interesting bits are :
err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo  couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect
problems
err:d3d_caps:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat.
err:d3d:InitAdapters Failed to get a gl context for default adapter
