Last week, my search took a different turn, then stalled a bit.

Before it stalled, I learned, that there is a problem with the way wine handles
freetype autohinting, as the font, that I favor looks (IPAMona set) about the
same in freetype demo as the one, one of the devs prefers (Ume set), as long as
autohinting is on. If it's not, the glyphs are a bit square.

Still in process of figuring out how to get around it, but I set component back
to gdi32.
