I'm not much of a programmer but I don't think just disabling the instructions
would be much use. If I understand the problem correctly the solution would be
for Wine to actually translate the D3D instructions regarding geometry
instancing into corresponding OGL instructions.

Sadly I'm not much help when it comes to code, but maybe someone else might
find this problem interesting enough, especially now that ArmA 2 Free is out.
