When the problem was present I tried a few variants, including the one you gave
(they are listed in the AppDB page), but at that time it did not help me. 

The bug as described in the title is no longer present and was fixed by the
game developers; I suggest to mark it as invalid or worksforsome, unless
somebody will research the older version I linked earlier.
