Hi Jörg,

With the subsequent commit

[be158e48ad8ee556941bd3f1ff94ca7116680d00]
winmm: Implement waveOut* on top of MMDevAPI.

the game doesn't hang and I'm getting sound (button clicks and in-game sound
effects).
