[Bug 27863] eMachineShop: unable to get past "Fix Video problems" screen

(First, I should note that there's a typo in my description of the bug. Instead
of:
"In Terminal, enter: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/eMachineShop"
I should have written:
"In Terminal, enter: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/eMachineShop")

None. However, if I press Ctrl-C a couple of times in Terminal, I get this:

And if I switch to X11 and press Cmd-Q, I get this:

XIO:  fatal IO error 35 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server

      after 16 requests (7 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
