Nevermind, I can confirm that this issue is exposed (though not caused) by my
patches.  Would you mind opening a new bug for this and testing to see exactly
which one of those winetricks installations covers up the problem?  Looking at
the code I'd have to say that I'd be surprised if any one of them makes a real
difference, it's probably more luck of the draw.
