I can also confirm this bug happens using Red Alert 2 version 1.006 (without
Yuri's Revenge expansion).

Start and skirmish and, after 30 seconds or so, all your units will blow up
(because of the copy protection). There, the "aftermath" screen appears and the
bug can be observed.
