This has been bothering me for the few years I've been using Wine. I like to
run everything in a virtual desktop by default to avoid problems such as
unsupported monitor mode in some full-screen games or to keep my desktop easily
accessible, then for the occasional windowed program I prefer not to use
virtual desktop.
For a while I was using the 'wine explorer /desktop=,0x0 ./program.exe'
workaround, now it doesn't work anymore.
It works fine the other way around (disabled by default, enabled per app), so
why has this been an issue for so long?
