I do not have this bug, maybe because I always had my Eudora set up NOT to use
Internet Explorer's engine to view emails. So this may be a solution/workaround
for you:
Go to Tools > Options > Viewing Mail and UN-check the "Use Microsoft's Viewer"
box.
Close all Mailboxes and Emails, restart Eudora and try.
