If you're not certain that it's the same bug, here's what you can do:
1. Do regression testing. See http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting
2. Figure out if it's caused by the same (or closely related) change.

If it's the same problem, then follow the advice elsewhere and add the game to
the list of affected apps (you might want to post here to confirm this, once
you're sure).

If it's a different problem, open a bug and provide the information you got
from the regression testing. CC the right component/author. Since you've
already done the regression testing, you'll be pretty much sure you won't be
ignored.

Otherwise please refrain from speculating on Bugzilla; long threads don't make
it easier for the developers and are usually annoying to all the people being
CC'd.
