This problem of blocking the text being typed with the prediction's box is
still present in 1.3.20.
The feature can be found in its on-line documentation at
http://npp-community.tuxfamily.org/documentation/notepad-user-manual/editing/auto-completion.

In the source the file is:
npp.5.9.src/PowerEditor/src/ScitillaComponent/AutoCompletion.{cpp,h}.
