I believe I may be experiencing a similar issue. I have random crashes in EVE
as well after a relatively short duration of run time. Versions are similar to
OP as well.

`wine eve.exe` will run for a few minutes before crashing while `wine explorer
/desktop=EVE_1,1600x900 .wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/CCP/EVE/eve.exe` will run
for longer before crashing. In either case the backtrace is the same.

Running Gentoo amd64 (2.6.38)
Wine 1.3.19
EVE Client 6.43
Nvidia 270.41.06
gcc 4.5.2
glibc 2.13
emul-linux-x86-* installed

I understand that libnvidia-glcore.so.270.41.06 would indicate a problem with
the driver, but the appdb entry for EVE indicates that this version of the
driver was used in testing.
