There's a GOG-specific version of the 1.1 patch (available under "additional
content" under Witcher 2 in your GOG account page). Gog's version includes the
release-day patch. I'm on Ubuntu 11.04 with binary nvidia drivers etc also -
I'll see if I get the same crash.
