This is a point-n-click adventure game, released in 2004 by The Adventure
After starting the game only a black screen is shown, and the screen stays that
way: the game becomes unresponsive shortly after started.

I can't reproduce the problem in the demo version.

The last good version is Wine 1.3.20, and the problem is still present as of
The result of the regression test:

commit ae15a4b6bcc6163255ffb01e820ba5b4532febf9
Author: Piotr Caban <piotr at codeweavers.com>

msvcrt: Make FILE->_flag reading functions thread safe.

The reverted patch fixed the problem.
Native msvcrt also acts as a workaround (winetricks vcrun6).

Please let me know what debug channels should be used (would a
+tid,+msvcrt,+file debug log be okay)?
