Noticed this problem too.

Multiple problem at least in urlmon, mshtml, some unknown, msxml and wininet.

winetricks ie6 and gui is visible, but nothing happens

Add winetricks msxml3 and you can click "next step". But after that "We're
unable to connect.."

Add winetricks wininet and download works. Install starts.. But then nothing
