The error occurs because of missing wmvcore. Try 'winetricks wmp9' (or wmp10)

However, after installing some stuff that it ends for me with:

err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallExecute" returned
1603
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"ExecuteAction" returned 1603
