Summary: Paraworld hangs after playing the intro videos with
                    Opengl renderer
           Product: Wine
           Version: 1.3.28
          Platform: x86

plain terminal output

Symptom: the game starts fine and it plays the first 3 intro videos (company
logos). Then comes the main intro (in the demo it is only a Paraworld logo),
and the game becomes unresponsive afterwards. Thus, it never reaches the main
menu.

Workaround(s):
1) ddr=gdi
2) remove all .bik videos, located in ../Data/Base/Video (except the ones under
/3D_menue), and in ../Locale/uk/Video. The game will load directly to the main
menu, without freezing.

The demo has a huge download size (>1.2 GB), I willingly provide any logs or
tests if it is needed.

A note when testing the demo: the installer will place a bunch of native dlls
in /system32 (without asking the user). They're ranging from d3dx9 libs to
devenum, d3d8, d3dxof, d3drm etc.
Actually, none of them are needed to test the reported problem. It's best to
remove/backup the installed game, then create a new wineprefix and move the
game directory in that. The game should start out-of-the-box.
