that looks like a fair description, wish I had been able to summarise it in so
few words >_< I guess I went over board as I've had "similar but not identical"
issues with other applications (but I decided to not try to lump them
together).

so, would this be a wine bug or should I file a bug upstream as it seems to be
triggered by the location of the panel?
