I've found a test site for PlayReady that may help solve this problem
(http://playready.directtaps.net/smoothstreaming/).  This particular site is
convenient because it shows the exact same video both with and without
encryption, and the unencrypted video plays perfectly!  The encrypted one does
not behave the same way as Netflix (clicking play does nothing in the UI), but
it does generate a lot of the same spew in the console.
