Videos are in mpeg-1 format, that's a different problem, maybe bug #9127 ?
The reported problem with misplaced text in the game is still present in Wine
1.5.19.
I noticed that the problem is present only when in-game screen resolution is
set higher than 640x480. @640x480 resolution text is rendered properly.
