I think you may have to break some things in order to split patch 3. From my
experience, it may be acceptable to break something in a patch to fix it in a
later one, as long as 1) you describe what exactly is broken and which patch
fixes it, and 2) you don't break make test. I never had to add todo_wine, so I
don't know if that would pass.
