Hello,

the patch fixes the mapping/relocation issue this bug is about.

With that patch applied you are now encountering a different class of problems
-> different Wine bugs.

"corruption" = obfuscated code.

The code makes certain assumptions about the layout of Windows API entries.
If you create a new bug for that, you'll get explanation and solution ;-)
