Stuttering *is* present when running any sounding app after selecting any audio
device (either labelled default or not) in winecfg (audio tab)...except the
"...digital" entry which outputs no sound.
Stuttering is *not* present when running the render.log test (beeps are clearly
audible with no apparent stutter).

I mean any device labelled as "default" in winecfg.
