Seems mostly fixed as of WINE version 1.3.34 and ARMA2 version 1.1186734 (also
OA version 1.60.87580). My GPU is a GeForce 550 Ti, 2GB model.
The graphics now seem fine in the menu, and are good ingame. Some minor
glitches (muzzle flash and gun animations leaving afterburn, clipping smoke and
effects) are resolved by setting StrictDrawOrdering to enabled. Antialiasing
must be set to Low for textures to appear. 

The main problem is LoD - objects, trees and buildings sometimes flicker in and
out when the view is changed or the player moves. Likewise, map entities also
flicker.
