I can't reproduce the problem here, using a Nvidia 250 card with the
proprietary driver. I have the following overrides set for Majesty 2: d3dx9_36,
msvc*80. The game runs without issues here.
My console output is the same as yours up to this point:

What video card and driver are you using? How much ram is installed on the
card? According to the system requirements the game needs at least a Nvidia
6800 GT with 256 MB Ram (and pixel shader 2.0 support).

This looks suspicious, I've never seen such message before.
