On Wine 1.3.37:

* Game starts and plays intro
* Shows main menu and animations
* Can choose firestorm or classic
* Can start game (nod or gdi)
* Plays the first level video sequence
* After game has loaded it hangs, can not move cursor !!!

I guess the last one is a different bug, so we can mark this as fixed.
