I set up a clean wineprefix and canceled the Mono installer but installed
Gecko.

I just thought that wine can't find a display, so, I decided to try it a second
time. Like you can see from the log the ...

fixme:ole:NdrCorrelationInitialize (0x337ad318, 0x337acf18, 1024, 0x0): stub
fixme:ntdll:NtQuerySystemInformation info_class SYSTEM_PERFORMANCE_INFORMATION

... part is now missing. I guess, the patch was smaller than 10MB because it
was downloading something very small and then the launcher switched to the
'play' button. Maybe someone can find out more details by comparing both logs.
