third debug patch

I can't say I completely understand what's going on here, essentially alpha
component blending with float render targets doesn't do what I expect. I'd
usually blame the drivers but since no driver I tested did what I expect, I
guess I'm the one to blame... I'll look further into it.

In the meantime, can you test this new patch on top of the previous ones? What
happens to the glow effect with it?
