This is still (wine 1.5.9) observable in the cd/dvd version of BG2/Throne of
Bhaal. I was able to reproduce it by running the game in fullscreen mode,
minimizing the game and after restoring it the mouse pointer would behave
erratically as described. Easily worked around by running the game in windowed
mode.

For completness sake I tried, but was not able to reproduce it in planescape
Torment (possibly because Torment does not minimize properly for me - but
that's not the subject of this bug anyway).
