When playing X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, a crash is produced when entering the
simulator for the second time per instance of the game.  For example, I can
start the game and enter any mission with no problem, but once the mission
terminates a stack trace (attached) is produced on entering a new mission.

git-bisect produced the following commit as the first occurance of the bug:
