To recap:
The only sound problem you're having is with HW2, right? You've got winecfg
Test Sound and such working, right?

If that's correct, what would be useful now is:
* A log from Wine 1.5.6 with the full game with the debug channels from Comment
10.
* Confirmation that the demo has the same problem.
