Launcher Crashlog for Wine 1.5.7

Wine 1.5.7, I'm getting this exact issue (brand new clean prefix, using the
installer from the Battle.net site).

Launcher starts, begins to download files and then crashes after one or two
seconds. Opening the BackgroundDownloader.exe and disabling PeerToPeer doesn't
fix it either.

Can someone else confirm this with a clean prefix to make sure it's not
specific to my machine?
