Running on 64 bit Ubuntu yes. Maybe start over with clean git

Steps:

1) git clone
2) git apply KUSERPATCH
3) ./configure 
4) sudo make install
5) wget http://winetricks.org/winetricks
6) chmod +x winetricks
7) start winetricks and remove all application stuff -> cleans up .wine or just
delete the .wine folder.
7) winetricks vcrun2008 d3dx9
8) winetricks -> config set virtual desktop and set to xp

That's all i did.

*Ironhide/Bumblebee users: I run using optirun32 so I installed
virtualgl-libs:i386 because optirun64 didn't work for me.
