Thanks a lot for the idea Dan, I didn't know about winetricks before. Now, not 
only the registration works but also the core functionality of the app: tokens
are generated every 30 seconds. Accessing the settings page crushes the app,
but I can live without it.

So there seems to be another issue with the winhttp implementation in Wine,
besides the headers. I'll try to investigate further and report back if I find
anything.
