Hmm, some useful quotes about consistency:

Although:

"Consistency is the foundation of virtue." 

in reality.

"Inconsistency is the only thing in which men are consistent."

and more importantly for the current case, no offense meant:

"Consistency requires you to be as ignorant today as you were a year ago."

I do only occasional bug testing and probably I'm wrong, but maybe people are
realizing that it is not very productive to strictly close bugs which are "not
for wine" when in fact there is still something useful in it? (and pointless to
spend time in opening another bug)
