I've post my proof-of-concept here:

Notice that mentohust is an Open Source and Cross Platform software which no
need to run on Wine at all, but seems it is the only one winpcap based
authentication client that I can make it work on Wine at this time. Please let
me know if you want any more details about the proof-of-concept.
