Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Install and run the application.
2. Press <Ctrl+n> to create a new fractal.
3. Click on an item in the right pane in the browser -> the application
freezes.

Terminal output:

Native comctl32.dll is a workaround.

It is a regression, caused by
