SR2 uses a 3D game engine for planetary battles (the rest of the game uses a
turn based engine in 2D).
Placing native d3dx9_36.dll (or d3dx9_31) in the game directory works around
the crash when entering planetary battle mode.
I tested with SR2:Reboot, Wine 1.5.5.
