Still present in Wine 1.5.5. I tested with the Steam version of Rome:TW.
Disabling winegstreamer works around the crash.
I have a feeling that this bug report is about the same problem as bug #28210.

Fedora 16 x86
Gstreamer 0.10.35 + additional plugins installed
