Well, I did some reading and I managed to wget the text file to aoe2.patch.
When I go to /.wine/drive_c/windows/system32 and try to apply the patch with
patch -p0 < ~/aoe2.patch it says it can't find the file to patch, so I type in
ws2_32.dll. Then I get 2 out of 2 hunks FAILED. What am I doing wrong?
