Just launch the game. I use following command for this:
LANG=ru_RU.cp1251 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine_d3/ setarch i386 -3 -L -B -R wine explorer
/desktop=d3,1920x1080 "C:\Program Files\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe" -launch
(several workarounds used to make it work).

Observed result:
Screen becomes gray. When game finished loading its resources, ingame cursor
appears and sound starts to play. Gray screen stays as-is.

Expected:
Screen stays gray only during resource loading process. When game resources are
ready and everything is initialized, it should show login screen.

This is a regression:
