I understand what you mean you are also a friend of Linux and you want to see
it succeed like everyone else does. Don't you think that all the hard work
which Wine developers spend on this project since years is enough to show their
commitment? I think, it can't be any stronger than trying to change things by
actually doing something.

Wine is an enormous project and without it Linux wouldn't be as far as we see
it now. I mean, hey lets be honest without wine we would have any Windows games
on Linux. Possibly we wouldn't have any serious independent games looking at
Linux as a potential market.

And I'm very very sure without the success of Wine Valve had never ever looked
at Linux. So, please I know you are also eager to see faster results, but Wine
is a huge project and many developers are working on it in their spare time.
They are no wizards. You can help them by motivating them and give help. So
please, try your best with finding bugs and try to help to find the reasons for
it. 

You possibly like Linux as we do. So, please help instead of expressing your
anger. Thanks.
