That's quite similar to the situation in Guild Wars 2. I have a NV540m not the
best at the market but it runs with 40 FPS in Win7 and only 9 FPS in Wine. I
can also switch graphic settings without any effect on its performance.

I would like to test it. I may do something wrong because GW2 seams not to find
DX9 when I activate the patch. ae already said his patch isn't for GW2. I hope,
we can get it running for GW2, too.

It is a hack which is worth to build on IMHO. If it just helps in the first
place then let it be a bit 'ugly'. But we can use it as a basis to build up on.
If it just don't work, there will be less testers left, because the play with
Windows.

Write him a mail, too.  And if he needs Guild Wars 2 for testing his patch,
too. I'm pretty sure we'll get the people together to buy him one :)
